3. Used Acura RSX Type-S Coupe 2005-2006
Coming in its 5th season in Acura’s lineup, the intensive RSX sport coupe engine has done few changes for 2006. One new body-color option is offered. Excellent performance and styling improvements were developed in 2005.
In the base engine, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder generates 155 horsepower, in accordance with new testing standards established by the Society of Automotive Engineers. A lower final drive ratio with the 6-speed manual gearbox in the Type-S, introduced in 2005, was intended to deliver quicker acceleration.
The RSX Type-S hike the bar to 210 horsepower and 143 lb-ft of torque from its version of the similar 2.0-liter engine. Type-S comes with leather, 6-speed manual transmission with no automatic option, and 17-inch wheels and tires. The Acura RSX is a carryover from 2005 and will be terminated for 2007.
